Shionogi Pharma EHS Policy
In 2019, the year Shionogi Pharma was founded, we established an EHS policy to show the image of what Shionogi Pharma should be and what we should do to realize it. We promote activities in accordance with this policy at all sites.
Based on the Company Policy of SHIONOGI of “SHIONOGI strives constantly to supply the best possible medicine to protect the health and well-being of the patients we serve,” we contribute to society through various business activities related to pharmaceuticals and to creating a safe workplace and a sustainable and prosperous society while giving consideration to the protection of the global environment, the prevention of pollution, and ensuring the health and safety of all people who work with us and the local community.
- 1We build a highly organized EHS management system and continuously improve the system.
- 2We comply with laws and regulations related to the environment, health, and safety.
- 3We work on continuous improvement by setting and periodically reviewing targets for reducing environmental impact and risk factors in all business activities, such as technology development, production, distribution, and sales.
- 4We aim to raise employee awareness through prompt provision of information on EHS and regular EHS education and training.
- 5We build a partnership of trust with society by supporting local and social environmental protection activities and health and safety activities, and by enhancing communication, including disclosing information.
